It probably isn't much of a consolation, but if she has to be casted, it will probably be a lot easier on her to have it done when she's young. Max was in a spica cast for a month when he was 2 1/2 -- it was horrible for everyone involved. Continuing to send you and Lily love and strength -- you guys are in our thoughts.
Amy we are thinking of you and dan and our 2 beautiful nieces. We miss you and wish we could fly you over for a visit. You would get a lot out of seeing this place. and i know you must be freaking out each day the surgery gets closer. I know in my heart its going to go well, and lily is strong and you are a strong family for her. We love you all.
